Washington, D.C.

Am now finished with d.c, was a nice place, even with the humidity. Off to Philly next, where I'm hoping for slightly cooler weather and my own hotel room. 

Highlights/lowlights from d.c, were: 

*staying with family

* managing the metro system and the odd bods I encountered

* looking up at impressive ceilings in the library of congress and the Jefferson memorial

* almost seeing Obama

* finding and using as much free wifi as possible (yes, I know I'm on holiday, but like to have the wifi as a just in case)
